I just taught six classes and am getting ready to write my reports. Took a break to pop in here This morning, our new dishwasher is scheduled for delivery. We've been without one since before Christmas. We had a repairman look at it, but decided replacing it was better than repair. I know many of you make do without a dishwasher quite well and I will give credit to our boys in that they've been doing them without complaint. But it's taking a lot more time that I would rather have them spend on other things. I'll be glad to have that sorted. Ths is supposed to be delivered before lunch. It's delivery only; DH wanted to install it himself (and installation was so expensive, too!) After lunch, we're heading to Costco. Our monthly run always feels big to me, but DH is concerned about the COVID numbers in our county and how they're trending, so he wants this to be a DOUBLE trip. I agreed that we can do that... but I reminded him that he needs to take all the other "stuff" out of the truck. One month's worth of purchases from there fills our truck normally. I don't really know where two months' worth of things will go. When I told the boys, they started laughing and DS2 asked if he was supposed to ride on the roof 😂😂 The plan is to bring pizza home for dinner. I expect I'll be pretty busy figuring out putting all this "extra" stuff away.

I am cooking up a storm here today. I got a new diabetic cookbook from my dietician, with some fabulous recipes in it that I think I can actually live with. I started this morning making my turkey sausage, sweet potato, onion and bell pepper breakfast plate, enough for three days. I have several days worth of meals for myself planned, mainly breakfast and lunch which is where I have problems, I now have a pot of curried carrot soup on the stove for my lunches. Dishes are done, bed is made, now to exercise and do my quiet time.
