Around here things don't seem to change much. Of course now I work so I don't have as much time to do as I used to.
MJ is doing well with his dialysis. He has made a few friends there. One nurse even has him 3-D printing parts for her car, dash pieces and such.
He helped us at work when our pc crashed and set up the new one my boss let me buy. Then fixed the old one so the guys can look up parts and such on it.
I found out last night my dil is having surgery Tuesday. She has endometriosis and they are hoping to get most of it out.
I had a bad bout of pain that lasted weeks. Now it is finally abating but if I over do it, it comes rushing back. It is easier to trigger it than it is to appease it and get it to go away again. So I have to take it easy or I don't get to do anything.
Nothing has really changed here. Life just goes on. Uno on Tuesday is the highlight of our week. I am still doing church at home, with my sister's church in Tennessee. Mainly because I get more out of Chance's sermons that I have anything I have heard locally for years. Most preachers here are... tired I guess. Chance, is truly excited about evangelism. He reminds me of Jeff Foxworthy. He posts almost everyday, thoughts for the day, which are mini lessons on things that occur to him at some point in the day.
So how are you? What is new or happening with you?

Around here things don't seem to change much. Mel, you could have been talking about me. Although the exterior (home, state, etc) have changed so much throughout the years, at home... it seems like I'm often dealing wtih the same issues of being organized and keeping up with my kids. These are good problems to have... I just wish I didn't feel like I won't have it figured out until the kid are grown! The biggest household issue remains having one car and three drivers. While DH & I work from home, there are more and more times now when we either drop DS off at work or call an Uber or Lyft for him. His work isn't far away, but the road is very dangerous to walk or ride bikes on. There is no shoulder, much less any sidewalk. DH and I are planning to find another vehicle by the end of the year...we are all saving towards this. We being another year of homeschooling next week. Normally, we start in July. The younger boys have been taking math or science and P.E. classes in June and July. This week, they are in an online "camp" (it's Minecraft themed). They attended last year and loved it. I need to organize their lessons for next week and make sure they know their schedules. I am still working (teaching) online. At the moment, demand is down for me. That is okay, because I have things to keep me busy at home! In fact, I've been slacking on my MoMos. Going to get back to that.

Last Friday was my physical therapy assessment after a month of therapy (3 times a week). We determined I need another month of sessions....maybe less. I'm using a cane now. Dh is taking care of the animals and a lot of the housework when he gets home from work. It seems that whenever he sees someone with the tell-tale scar going down their knee he asks them about their knee replacement experience. A lady told him she fell and had lots of problems after that so now he wants me to take it easy and not walk without the cane. In the house I tend to not use it since our house is so small.
Ds flew his kids home on the 4th. I miss those two angels immediately. For being a 12 yr old & a 13 yr old they are the most pleasant and polite kids I've ever been around.

I know! Let's me realize how long I've been on PH. I was here awhile before they were born. One of Sandra & her sons first visits to our farm Emily & Eli was here and all the kids rode one of the horses (dh leading the horse). E & E were 2 & 3 and her boys were little tykes also.

Good Evening, Ladies!
Much is the same, a few things are new since my last update!
We are still house hunting. Still homeschooling. I lost a few pounds then gained a few pounds (oops)!
I did become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- I was baptized June 26 and confirmed June 27! The children are settling in to being back in a church and are making friends. I was called upon to be on the Activities Committee for the Relief Society (Womens Group) just a few days ago so I'm super excited about that!
Unfortunately Jon's initial enthusiasm has waned and he's only attended a couple of times, although the ward Bishop has tried to include him where possible (invited him to meeting I've had to attend, etc). I'm praying for him as it is all I can do. He has been struggling a lot with depression lately so I realize that is contributing to our troubles also. Thankfully he doesn't mind the children and I going to church even if he doesn't.
The children and I have had a good summer. They did a few VBS programs and they really helped them grow their relationship with Jesus Christ (along with being back at a church). Seeing them understand more about the Gospel and ask more questions has been so precious to me!
Anyway, I look forward to seeing more updates.
Love and miss you all! ♡Amber

Hello! I think I'm up to posting once or twice a year now? 🤦♀️
I was just thinking earlier about how long I've known you ladies. Emile, who was in maybe 4th grade is 24 now. The twins were rushed and they're seniors this year. I'm stuck between figuring out how to chain them in their rooms a few more decades without getting arrested and figuring out which bedroom will become my new craft room. Probably Hanné's since Marwan's would make the better guest room. 😏
I've been at Bass Pro for almost a year. I really like it. The best part is that Emile is back on our insurance until he's 26. Especially good since his last clot and he's taking Xarelto.
Speaking of work, I need to get ready. Hanne a good one, ladies!
