You can make a postcard using the front of a greeting card or Christmas card, as long as it is blank on the back side of the picture. Just cut off the front of the card, turn it over and draw a line down the middle. On the left, write the address and put your postage stamp, and on the right side just write your message.
Decorative parts of Christmas cards can be cut out and used to make gift tags. Just punch a hole and thread some string or ribbon.
Card fronts can be laminated or covered with clear contact paper to make a simple coaster.
You can also glue a large card front to a piece of foam board and make a mousepad.

The pretty fronts of greeting cards can be cut off and used as recipe cards. I love this idea!

I found the cutest idea on Pinterest and wanted to share. Use old greeting cards to make needleholders. You cut a 2-inch strip off the front of the card and fold it like a matchbook. Cut a tiny piece of fleece or felt to fit inside and staple it at the bottom of the matchbook. You can fit several needles or even pins inside. I really like this idea as it's quick, easy, and very useful if you sew.
