What has everyone been up to? Not much going on here. It's cooling off slightly. Highest has been 85. I finished my sister's quilt on Tuesday and took it to her on Friday. Had dinner with her and my mom. Spent the night with my sister and came home Saturday.

Good for you for finishing a quilt! I need to work on some sewing projects today. Nothing interesting to report here. Dd1 is not doing well and has more testing in the works. Dd2's "sprained" ankle was diagnosed incorrectly and looks like we're now dealing with a very irritated, non-healed fracture. (Typical for medical care in our state!) The one GOOD thing is that worker's comp is going to help out, which is a relief since we now have 4 adults at home and only one is employed.
I'm trying to stay positive and keep my head above water. The leaves have changed color now and the mountains are absolutely beautiful. It's a nice break from the summer heat.

I'm so sorry you are having all of that to deal with. I'll be praying for your family. I have trouble getting online from home since we don't have internet service. I can sometimes get connection if I sit outside. But because of my heart failure I can't be sweating so if it's humid or hot I have to stay inside. DD has asked if I can find some sweatpants & sweatshirts for the kids. It's gotten close to freezing there in CO and they have some things but need more. With the wildfire smoke she can't be getting out (she has bad asthma). The kids are homeschooled so no great hurry. At Walmart the pants alone are $15! I'm dropping a lot of things off at Goodwill so I'll check in there.

Thank you, Gina. The doctor took more x-rays and still can't find anything. Going to do an MRI to see if she's torn something. It turned cooler last night and we woke up to fallen leaves all over the place. The cars were covered. I like it when we get a cold snap like this because it helps out my allergies.
I hope you can find some clothes for your grandkids. Goodwill is a good place to check! It seems lots of people have been decluttering over the last few months and there's more to choose from now.
